Your Pura Vida lifestyle
A typical day
Wake up with coffee and a light breakfast. Departure for a morning surf around 8:30 am, 2 hours class. Return home relax and discover the surroundings of each village, the people, the monkeys, their own charm! Afternoon either doing yoga, paddle boarding or hiking depending on the day.
Our evenings
Some evenings are accompanied by a nice dinner prepared by your private chef, others are reserved for discovering local restaurants. Sometimes followed by a campfire on the beach or simply a quiet evening.
Surfing
- Theory class with handouts on wave formation, winds, surfing etiquette, surfing history, hazards, great surfing tricks, etc…
- 6 surf lessons in small groups
- Filmed surfing sessions and video coaching analysis evening

Who are our trips for?

Surfing level
- The majority of our participants are beginners to intermediate. Perfect for acquiring a solid foundation to enjoy the waves safely, respectfully and become independent.
- Intermediate to advanced surfers will be served with the best surf spots and dream waves right in front of the house. We will direct you to the best spots to surf depending on the conditions.

Lodging
Small, unique and charming hotel facing the sea. Fall asleep to the sound of the waves and relax in the pool on hot days after surfing!
Dominical
Inn in the heart of the village with character. At 30 seconds walking distance from the ocean. Swimming pool with hot water and common kitchen. Excellent for getting out and about, day and night! Possibility of single, double or quadruple rooms.
Pavones
House hotel, comfort, pool and enchanting site, excellent for relaxation! Possibility of single, double or quadruple room.

Playa Hermosa
A beautiful black sand beach set back from the action, with our hotel right on the beachfront. The waves here are perfect for intermediate to advanced surfers. Great place to relax and sleep well with 2 pools to cool off during the hot day. Hermosa is also close to the action if you want to be there with Jaco an 8 minute drive away offering restaurants, bars and surfing vibes. The waves in Jaco are gentle and perfect for beginners and that's where we'll be for our first surf lesson. Small hike and yoga also with the appointment. We stay there 2 nights.
From Hermosa to Dominical
Dominical
90 min of road to arrive at our next stop, a superb village in the hippy look, surfer. A cool and relaxed atmosphere awaits you there. Hike to an impressive waterfall, yoga, surfing in a heavenly setting, nightlife and party possibilities. We stay 3 nights.
From Dominical to Pavones
It is here that we advance a little more deeply in the jungle... 5hrs of road towards a paradise of the surf. With a luxuriant vegetation and a jungle well animated by the numerous toucans, parrots, monkeys and sloths! A remote surfing and fishing village with a memorable blue ocean. Pavones is known for its perfect wave that is over a kilometer long and is one of the longest lefts in the world! Small family and local restaurants to discover. We stay 4 nights. Surfing, yoga, and a boat trip to the other side of the Gulf Dulce awaits you!
